Excellent Saw Mar 11, 2010
Although I have only used the saw a couple of times, I am very satisfied with its quality and performance. It is built very well and has numerous features. I have been doing woodworking for about 38 years and this is one of the best saws I have seen. Make sure you read all instructions. Some features are not self evident.

I was really impressed with all of the features that came with this Jigsaw. It could do everything I needed it to do and then some. Also, it was very easy to use. Changing blades takes only a few seconds, and all of the other settings can be changed without unscrewing anything.

Mainly I was looking for the build quality, and this thing feels very solid.

and, hands down, it is one of the best tool purchases I have ever made. I cut through two thicknesses of treated two by twelves (glued together) for an arbor and it truly shocked me at how easily it went through it. I bought it after attending a "Woodworking show" and they had it on display, turned on, sitting on the table and it just sat there, did not move.

The only downside, and that would not stop me from buying another, is the method of blade removal and or change. To me, it is a little cumbersome. Which, translates into four stars rather than five.

Other than that...this saw, to me, was well worth the investment.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this jig saw and most of the reviews ranked it one of the best. I have always gone by the motto, if you want a job done right, you need to have the right tools. I definitely believe that this saw falls into that category. I cut a couple of wholes in the sides of kitchen cabinets and they turned out straight and smooth. The quick change replacement feature for the blade works great! The only reason I ranked this saw a 4 and not a 5 was because it is a bit on the expensive side.

Saw came and i put it right to work. i was cutting bamboo flooring to fit around vents and what not. Nice, clean cuts with not problems at all. Everything worked perfectly. Such a solid saw. HIGHLY recommend.
