5Satellite Kit is an Excellent value!  Mar 12, 2008
I was very pleased with the Kit. It came with everything you need to do a professional job on your RG-6 cables.

2Tools is the only plus here.  Nov 14, 2007
Not at all what I was expecting. The book covers nothing that I wanted to know about wiring at all. Nothing on the different types of splitters (for cable)and switches (for satellite) that would be needed or even compatible with the different satellite companys. VERY VERY basic info. Only good out of it is the tools and even those IMO or still not pro quality though they are still better then most (if you ever bought a cable stripper from Radio Shack you know what I mean). Waste of money? Not really if you know absolutly nothing. Do some searching on the internet first then find you some nice tools and supplies and then your all set.

5Kool Kit  May 15, 2007
At first, the thought of messing with the cable in my house was scary, but I needed to move that outlet in my living room so I read the instructions (which is usually a last resort), but the book lays it all out there for you in a way that makes it easy to understand what you're doing while not overloading you with info. I always felt comfortable and in control. The tools are easy to use and there was more than enough cable (more than you would think) included in the kit. All-in-all I would say that it definitely met my expectations.
