5sheathing stapler  May 18, 2008
This was the deal of a lifetime. great value for a great tool. This was such a good deal I was suspicious at first but I have used the stapler on several houses without a flaw and I couldnt be happier. I even bought one for a friend. You cant go wrong here. It would have been nice if it came with a case but a great value as it is.

I haven't used this stapler for more than a couple of hours so far. I purchased the staples suggested by the Amazon website. No problems. Very happy with the performance and price.

5Review of The DeWalt Construction stapler  Sep 21, 2007
When I read the reviews for this product, all three said they had jamming/feeding issues. I figured for the price (compared to a Pasload) and the DeWalt name I'd give it a try anyway. It's proved to be a good preformer. I've put 1 box of staples (10,000) through it and it has preformed flawlesly. There is alot more plastic on this model than a
Pasload but it seems ok. Bottom Line so far so good and I think I made a good decision.

5DeWalt D51431 Heavy-Duty 1-Inch to 2-Inch 16-Gauge 1/2-inch Medium Crown Stapler  Sep 10, 2007
I have used this product on the last couple of jobs that I have done and it is an excellent tool. I have used a Stanley Bostitch older style and newer style many times, and in my opinion the DeWalt is much better. For about $250.00 less. I have not had one jam and that was a reoccurring problem with the Bostitch. It is lightweight and easy to handle. Great Product!

2Jerry's review  Sep 01, 2007
First, I like DeWalt equipment, especially my workshop-table saw. But this new nailer I don't like. I only like sequential triggering - here's the problem: The gun will not fire every time you pull the trigger unless you follow a strict sequence- i.e. after firing if you release the trigger before lifting gun off the material it will not fire the next time you pull the trigger. This idiosyncrasy is very frustrating. Thinking this just can't be right, I took gun to DeWalt service center in Little Rock. They said that's the way it is. You must hold trigger down until gun is lifted off the work piece or else the head will not re-extend for next shot. DeWalt help us out here. Other nailers don't have this problem. If you like the bump trigger you won't see this problem.
