I bought for the case Nov 14, 2008 I haven't used the bits, that's not why I made the buy, but the case is quite nice and sturdy for my good bits that were housed in a worn out case.
Great bits for the price! Sep 15, 2008 After getting these I realized how dull my Titanium coated bits were, these just smoked through the studs in my shelfing project. The bit holder is extremely secure and organized with a broad selection of bit.
I only gave it 4 out of 5 because I haven't used them long enough and they are like carbide bits, but then again they are 5/5 in value compared to the cost of buying one Carbide bit.
Even better this kit was free with the purchase of my Makita Combo Pack

Unreliable junk. Sep 07, 2008 Having used several drill bits over the course of my 30-year carpentry career, I consider myself a good judge of which drill bits will do the job and which will fail. Upon first examination, the bits felt sharp but extremely brittle, usually the first sign of inferior metal. Sure enough, while using the 1/8" bit to run a pilot hole in a sheet metal framing stud, the bit snapped. Even though I received these as a free promotional gift, they will only be used as a backup and only in wood. The case is nice but a bit oversized for my professional toolbox, where space is at a premium.

Junk Don't Buy Jun 09, 2008 At the price of $4.99 , this set is over priced due to inferior quality.
Several bits were warped which made them not useable for metal drilling and at best questionable for wood drilling. Stay away.

Not as good as they appear May 30, 2008 I was pre-drilling with the 5/64 drill bits in to a base molding so as not to crack it. I used the bit twice and it broke. Well I gave it the benefit that maybe I moved the drill when drilling. There were two bits so I used the second one and it broke right away. I had another drill bit box that I bought on ebay. I paid $3.25 for this cheap set. I finished two rooms of base boarding with that cheap bit and I am still useing it. I would imagine the larger bits would be okay. But for the price, hey. The really bad part is you pay more for shipping. So that $5.00 drill bits really cost you 12 or 13 bucks. Denali 15-Piece Black Oxide Drill Bit Set
