The Squirt P4 is ultra-compact, super tough, and weighs just two ounces, making it the perfect multitool to pop into that backpack or slip into those slacks. And for such a tiny unit, the Squirt really packs a lot of tough, functional tools for any occasion. Take it on the road, stuff it into a pocket, throw it in the glove compartment, or take it camping. This little tool is ready to work or play. Most of the tools are accessible from the outside for ease of operation, and the anodized aluminum handles offer rugged yet lightweight protection for decades of use. A handy lanyard attachment hooks easily to a loop on your backpack or key ring, so go ahead and attach the spring-action Squirt P4 to your key ring or backpack. With three screwdrivers, wire cutters, a knife blade and more, the P4 keeps your on-the-go life going. Key User Features The central feature of the Squirt, the pliers, is accessed by rotating the handles open in a quick, easy butterfly maneuver. The blades can be lifted out of the handle using the nail nicks. Just rotate the blades out until they're fully extended. The blades on the squirt are 100-percent high-grade stainless steel, and it can be cleaned, dried, and re-oiled periodically -- and this is recommended, especially after it's used in a damp environment. Small enough to stash anywhere, the Squirt has an integrated lanyard ring for easy storage. | Expand your Squirt's capabilities with genuine Leatherman accessories like the Squirt protective sheath. | Multitool Capabilities: - Needlenose pliers

What would I do without it? Oct 21, 2008 I have owned my Squirt P4 since 2002. In that time it has fixed countless things, removed hundreds of hooks while fishing, cut thousands of feet of fishing line. This tool is perfect for fishing, you and even field dress fish with it. I use it almost on a daily basis. I have managed to break the nail file off while trying to pry something open with it. That's ok, i'm a guy I don't need a nail file. The knife keeps a nice edge and is easy to sharpen when it gets dull.
I only have 2 complains, one is the nail file, I wish they would have put something more useful there, and second I wish I would have bought this sooner.
My Squirt has more than paid for it's self over the years. If something ever happens to it I will buy a new one ASAP. I'm not sure I could do without it now.
birthday gift Jun 08, 2008 I gave this to my boyfriend as part of his birthday present. It's much smaller than you think it will be but works elegantly and is very, very well constructed. Excellent.
Pocket Squirt Jun 01, 2008 This is my third Leatherman. This is the one I will carry daily. The Wave requires the belt sheath to carry and the Micra is all about the scissors. The pliers and knife are getting the most use.
Ideal keychain tool... Feb 14, 2008 I bought a Swiss-tech multitool in addition to the leatherman, as I couldn't initially decide on one. The leatherman is clearly superior. It feels very well made; the pliers really work great. As stated, there isn't a dedicated philips blade, though the straight screwdrivers double to work in philips screws. They'll get the job done in most cases. The only minor gripe I have is that there may be too much in there; I really only need a knife, 1 philips/straight screwdriver, and the pliers. I think that the pliers take up much of the bulk though, so eliminating these other tools wouldn't save much space/weight. If you're concerned about size/weight, and don't need the pliers, you're probably better off with something else (the Utili-key is great); otherwise, the squirt is a nearly perfect keychain tool.
a great little pocket knife Jan 23, 2008 Just a great little knife. The quality of the build and the spring loading of this very useful pocket knife are very high. I find it useful around the house and work without being too large to carry around as my "regular" sized leatherman.
