Some projects require more than just safety glasses. The MSA Safety Works Adjustable Faceshield assembly is designed for secondary protection to the face and eyes for jobs such as grinding and operating a lathe. The multi-patented product is stylish in looks, and loaded with features. The faceshield features a ratchet adjustable nape strap for a custom fit. The patented hinge points have no knob to loosen up over time, so they hold the visor in place, up or down, and it stays there! The crown strap is also adjustable to position the visor to the optimum location. The faceshield also features an easy to attach clear visor with a lip to help prevent drips or chemicals from running down the inside of the visor.

4Cheap, works fine  Jul 28, 2008
It's cheap, and works fine. Not top quality, but for $13, it's fine. It is not scratch resistant or fog resistant, but the shields are replaceable (if you can find them). The fit is fine, but you won't be able to fit your respirator under it too well (if you use one). If you have to wear it all day, every day, buy a better one. If it is just for a few hours once in awhile, this should work fine.

5Works Great  Apr 14, 2008
No more having to have little bits of dust and other junk falling in my face and eyes when I am working over my head. I bought it to use with my grinder - now I use it all the time.

5MSA Safety Head worn face shield  Feb 17, 2008
How much is protection worth? I have seen broken grinder wheels disfigure a man's face, and chips and splinters attack me in the work shop. There are some tools where just safety glasses are not quite enough. Do your self a favor and keep one of these handy in the workshop. If even the slightest doubt, wear it. It is light weight and comfortable.

5works great  Aug 25, 2007
low price, great protection, read the assembly instruction on the back of package, the 1st thing it tell you to do is remove the blue film from [both] side, after remove the blue films the face mask get very clear view, and it wasn't hard to remove, just use nail to peel off a little piece from the side and start from there. I like it very much, it's not only protect the eyes, it protect the whole face, and I can even wear my eye glasses and Respirator in it, another thing I like is I don't have to take it off and on, all I have to do is push the mask up to have a little brake. wasn't too heavy, the ratchet head band work good to get the right size. Glad I bought this one.

14 Stars (not 1 star): Pretty Good Once I got the Blue Film Off  Aug 11, 2006
At first I was surprised to find that the face shield was almost completely opaque. It turns out that there is a blue film on the scren that is very difficult to remove (it would've been nice if the package said something about this film). I've now been using this for a couple weeks and it is pretty comfortable and effective. It's even fairly comfortable when using it in combination with safety goggles.
