Quakehold! 33111 Museum Gel, Clear

SKU:

Availability:   Usually ships in 1 business days

Depending on where you live-and depending on where you keep the crystal-you may be in need of Quakehold!'s museum gel. Here's how it works: simply pinch off a bit of the non-toxic gel and adhere it to the bottom of the object you want to secure, then place it on the shelf. The gel will hold it fast in the event of an earthquake. If you ever want to move the object to another location, simply twist and pull to separate it from the shelf. The gell is fully reusable, and it doesn't leave marks on wood or other materials.--Josh Dettweiler

2Just another gel  Oct 12, 2008
The gel did not hold a ball in place -- it melted and the ball rolled off the shelf

5Works like a charm  Sep 18, 2008
Works great..no more "clattering" when walking past the curio cabinet. One jar will last a loooong time.

5For Glass Shelves and Smooth Surfaces Only  Jul 28, 2008
All you need is a pinch. Works well with glass shelves. Clear and invisible so you wont see it even if you look from the bottom. For what its intended purpose, it is 5 stars. Other than that, it is limited in uses.

You cannot use it to stick posters or practically anything on the wall as it drips. It is not as sticky as other products like "Quakehold", poster putties, etc. It will also not work on wooden surfaces. Anything that has pores and grains will not work.

1Worthless  Jul 16, 2008
Hold seems to be created solely by surface tension -- very easy to break. Won't work on vertical/slanted surfaces, since it runs. Double-stick tape works better than this stuff.
