doesn't get any better Nov 26, 2008 great little level. there is no comparison as far as craftsmanship and construction are concerned to the junk you'll find at your local warehouse. the magnets are extremely strong. i'll probably have this for the rest of my life
Stabila torpedo level Sep 08, 2008 A little pricy but it is a level that will last forever. Just dont leave it laying around.
worth every penny Jun 26, 2008 what to say about a torpedo level? strong magnets, accurrate and fits in my bags nice.
Stabilla Torpedo Level Review Apr 08, 2008 I do not need the 30 or 45 degree bubble, so for me the Stabilla is better than the checkpoint in every aspect except for the need of a magnet on the end of the level, for when bending stubs in conduit.
European Industry Standard Mar 18, 2008 These indestructible torpedo levels are the industry standard in the UK and much of Europe for people who erect Steel tube and clamp scaffolding. The magnets are strong enough to hold even on the curve of 2"OD pipe. Of course they work just fine on metal studding.
I've owned one of these for over a dozen years and use it frequently at work (in the motion picture industry.)
They are pricey enough that you do not want to leave them lying around a job site... but if you don't lose it, you will use it forever.
